Welcome to "Escape Velocity Game Expander," ported to the EV Nova engine!

This scenario adds a myriad of new ships, outfits, factions, sound effects, and missions to the Escape Velocity (Classic) experience.  Please see the included original documentation for detailed information, or don't if you hate spoilers!

This port was originally made by Enk many years ago, and it was done without the aid of SpacePort (impressive!).  While being quite the feat and for the most part playable, there were lingering issues to be addressed, and data corruption in various resources.  Luckily, there was another converted plugin source available, thanks to a project to convert all Classic and Override plug-ins to Nova format. With this converted plugin as a base (resolving data corruption issues and adjusting speed values), the port was remade.  

The following is a list of changes made by myself (Geek). See the included spreadsheet for an intense list of changes made by Enk.


Version 1.0 (11/23/2025):
- Resolved launch issues (new ported file).
- Tweaked weapon exit points.
- Set front-quadrant turrets to use gun exit points.
- Added a workaround for tritanium armor so the outfit can be passed to new ships without causing the player ship to be disabled when capturing a new ship.
- Added missing shipyard/hail PICTs
- Manually converted PICT sprite sheets missed by SpacePort to RLED.
- Adjusted government resource class values to the new convention in Guy's port of EV Classic.
- Various small tweaks.
- Merged EVGE data with EVC data files, clearing Plug-ins folder for files adding optional content.
- Added modified version of "Geek's Planets" as an optional plug-in, including three NEW planet images.
- Added dev përs ships. 
- Converted original documentation SimpleText files to .txt, and converted one documentation app (OS9 and older only) to PDF.
